Lupine

These spiky tall purple flowers can reach up to 120 cm in height and prefer cooler regions. They bloom from early to mid-summer.

The soil must be sandy and loose, they do not like clay soil.

To encourage flowering, give them a fertilizer high in phosphorus and remove dead flowers.

They can grow them from seeds or from cuttings. Before planting seeds soak them in warm water overnight. to soften the hard coat of the seed and easier germination.

This is a great plant for your garden because it improves nitrogen in the soil and benefits the growth of your other flowers or vegetables.Watch this video to learn more about the plant.
