Delphinium

Delphiniums are a popular plant among gardeners.

Delphiniums prefer a moist well-drained rich soil in full sun with some shade. They require frequent fertilization.

They do not like hot and dry summers and prefer cooler climates.

Most types of Delphinium get tall and their heavy flowers need support with a stake to keep them up-right.

When the flowers die, remove the dead flowers to encourage more flowers.

For dividing the plant use the new little plants growing around the outside of the clump.
